Review on Maintain a Healthy Septic System with Rid-X Platinum Liquid - 24 Fl Oz by Jamie Smith

I love how easy Rid-X has made this for the consumer. Each bottle contains a 3 month supply. It's as simple as shaking, pouring down the toilet and flushing. The instructions say it can be poured down the sink. I prefer the toilet. If you choose a sink, they recommend rinsing it with water afterwards. I just liked the idea of putting it in the toilet instead of around the sink where we wash our hands, brush our teeth etc. The bottle is grey, but there is a clear stripe on the side that clearly shows the amount Liquid. The directions call for eight ounces of each use. However, there is no need for a measuring cup when using labels on the bottle. The solution is also colored so that it can be seen in the toilet water. After that, it's as easy as just rinsing. I pour water with gloves and then wipe the toilet. This is just my personal preference and the instructions don't say that. I'm sure it works, especially when recommended by plumbers. While I can't look into my septic tank, I know I haven't had a problem. This makes this bottle very reasonable for a three month prophylaxis.
