Love these boots! Short and simple. I wear a pair to work every day (steel toe version) and they are very comfortable. My legs never hurt. Some of the older guys I work with tell me I'm not tall enough to hurt my legs anyway. At 24, I'm 6ft 2" and about 180 pounds, but I do have a part to play in the excellent design and construction of this shoe. I bought a second pair of non-steel socks to wear. I don't mind a break. I usually wear 11.5 shoes/boots and bought 11.5 in these. After feeling a bit tight in your new shoes for a day or so, they fit PERFECTLY. My girlfriend was so impressed with the construction and the beautiful look that I bought her a pair too. I mean these are handcrafted full grain leather boots made in the USA for under $200. I just had to order a men's size 5 to fit her women's 7ft. Do you understand? All of my build/craft friends wear Redwings and they were shocked at the quality of these thorogoods, not to mention a little annoyed at how much they spent on their Redwings compared to them. I will be buying these boots for years. Come.
