Review on Upgraded KZKR 11 to 78 Inch Full Spectrum Aquarium Light - Adjustable Remote Control Fish Tank Lamp for Freshwater and Saltwater Marine - White and Blue Lighting by Victoria Scholten

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright and light LED panel.

It's been a while since I've bought an aquarium light - no doubt before the widespread LED era, and when my 48 inch fluorescent light finally used up its last spare ballast I started to look for new headlights. It seemed like a smart choice and hit the spot when comparing size, brightness and cost. I have 75 gallons which is 48 inches long. This light covers the entire length. If your tank was longer, metal brackets are included to keep the light on longer. if you didn't have a glass tabletop to lean on. Anyway, I have a light that sits right on top of my glass table top. The light has a long enough patch cord to the transformer/power supply that includes a built in switch that controls the three lighting modes (off/bright/night). There is also an extra power cord from the transformer to the outlet. The Day/Bright mode is definitely bright and fully illuminates my 75. Night mode is a much darker blue and low enough not to be intrusive when you're not using the room. pitch darkness. I use an automatic timer for my light and it's not in a sleeping area so I rarely manually switch it from day to night, but it's a nice feature, maybe decorative lighting or something. tested it for plant life support but plan to do so and will report. The light has worked flawlessly so far and is a great improvement over fluorescent lighting technology. I would buy again.
