This was exactly as shown in the picture unlike some other reviews which had a flat emblem etc (picture attached). I chose this drive over other cheaper ones for two reasons. One of the reasons was that it came with a Blue-Ray player and multimedia software. This alone can cost up to $40. Windows 10 comes without software and this pack solves that problem. The second reason was that this drive seems to have some promise. It features M Disk technology, 3D playback and can work with 2-layer, 3-layer and 4-layer BDXL discs. With 4k technology and the move to HD content, this is an important factor. My installation was very easy with Windows 10. The drivers installed automatically as soon as I turned on my computer, and I used the disc myself to install the included Cyberlink software. I haven't bought into m-disk technology yet. I have CDs I've burned with data that are almost 10-15 years old and have never had a CD, DVD or Blu Ray that has deteriorated. could? Maybe. But never heard of it and had no such problem. (The only issue I might run into is accidentally physically damaging the drive.) So, as another review says, if M Disk technology gives you peace of mind, go for it. unit revolution. Will report any problems that arise.
