The welds at the corners do show just a tad of rust after cleaning and setting, but this is a very good product compared to all others that have rusted and discolored my joint compound and plaster. Only weak plastic can compare. I learned my lesson of buying cheaper (ultimately more expensive) products and I have purchased from several big box home improvement companies too. I'll look for Level 5 products from now on.
