They look beautiful and appear to be of high quality. I oiled them before use although they say they are pre-oiled. I used the large one once, hand washed without even submerging in water and hand dried immediately. The second time I used it I noticed it looked dirty and I know new cutting boards may need some extra lube to spice them up. As I massaged the oil in, I noticed that it felt very rough and splintery in places. The light from the oil shows splinters and they are wiped away on a paper towel - tiny little ones that should NOT come off a new cutting board. So disappointed.
