A good router works damn well.
Can't beat the price. An ultra-sharp clean edge means no tearing when using the backing pad and at the right speed. Used it on hard maple stone with wavy maple faces and it gave me sharp edges. A big, strong piece of steel and carbide. It costs twice as much.
