I’ve had these for a year now and I’d like to address then”spotting” others are seeing on their butter knife blades. I found it only happens when you wash them and don’t dry them. If you hand wash them and leave them in the silverware drainer any water drop that dries on the blade leaves a mark. But the mark isn’t permanent.If you wash them in the dishwasher and add the heated dry cycle they do not spot. If the heated dry cycle is wasteful to you energy wise just wipe the blades with a warm damp towel and towel dry them. Voila.I used them for all three meals every day for a year and they look brand new still. Before the pandemic my dinner guests would always compliment them.
