The Fortessa Lucca Faceted Brushed Gold 20-piece flatware set is not, sadly, the gold holiday flatware of my dreams. These things are subjective and you may feel differently.To my eye, the brushed gold was not brushed in appearance but merely dull. I had hoped it would be brighter and have a brushed metal appearance rather than merely a matte finish.I found the proportions of the pieces to be odd. Only thing to think about here is that they are heavy so they will fall off a plate you’re carrying pretty easily. These were used at a resort we stayed at and we loved the style and found them. Great brand and beautiful set!

I was looking for a high quality stainless steel flatware for special occasions. Our decor is contemporary and I happened on these on Revain. I ordered 1 box just to check the quality. The style is excellent and the fit and finish and heft of the individual pieces is very nice. I bought 7 more place settings, then I bought another 4. A great product if you like the style.

Nice looking pattern but there are small black spots that look like tarnish in the crevices of the rings. They are irregular and more prevalent on some pieces than others so this is clearly not intended. Very disappointed.

Me and the wife bought our fist set of 4 at Williams-Sonoma and the discount was great at the store. These were on sale here too and I grabbed them up fast! They are perfect strength and durable, I love the facet look and feel, they are sturdy in the hand. The only aspect that can cause an issue is the knife is very long and might not fit in many trays.

This is a stunning set of flatware that will definitely make any table instantly look more upscale and classy. Each piece is a beauty and has a great feel to it, the handle is very comfortable. The edges of the utensils are crisp and smooth, eating with these is a pleasure. That being said.while they are beautiful they are very expensive, and very heavy. For fancy occasional dinnerware this would be fantastic and will last you a lifetime, but for everyday use I definitely prefer something…

These utensils felt like high quality, and the price is decent. They feel surprisingly heavy, but in a good way. On some of the pieces, however, the facets were cut unevenly resulting in sharp edges. I don't really want to get my hands scraped up by my flatware.

Looks, weight, design all are winners. I got these because my previous flatware rusted in the dishwasher at my new home. These don't rust nearly as much, but I'm disappointed to see any. The public water in my area goes thru reverse osmosis and so I'm surprised it's happening.

I have purchased 12 place settings of this flatware (only 10 from Revain) and am very pleased with their beauty and quality. The weight feels very nice in the hand. They are about 10% - 15% bigger in dimension than the old Reed and Barton set that they are to replace. The only down side is that I will have to purchase a different pattern for the serving spoons and forks since the Lucca Faceted pattern doesn't seem to have a Hostess/Serving set. Regardless, I love these utensils!

This flatware is my all-time favorite, substantial in weight yet well balanced and easy to use.I love this set and will use it every day and for all occasions.

This is the best set of flatware I’ve ever owned. I never got around to buying the serving pieces so I was happy to find that this seller had stock in the large serving spoons. The quality is perfect, just what one expects from Fortessa. The seller is a great communicator and contacted me right away when she realized something was omitted from my order. I’ll definitely order more pieces from this wonderful seller.

Stylish and attractive; but has held up for at least 10 years for us. So we purchased a 4 place set to give as a Christmas present.

These were lovely, but I ended up returning them. From the pictures, I thought the handles would have a brushed silver finish, but they were shiny instead. I was looking for the matte finish.

I’ve had these for a year now and I’d like to address then”spotting” others are seeing on their butter knife blades. I found it only happens when you wash them and don’t dry them. If you hand wash them and leave them in the silverware drainer any water drop that dries on the blade leaves a mark. But the mark isn’t permanent.If you wash them in the dishwasher and add the heated dry cycle they do not spot. If the heated dry cycle is wasteful to you energy wise just wipe the blades with a warm…

We looked at other faceted flatware and this set is by far the best looking. They look great. They are a little heavy and the knives are longer than normal. However, the spoon is shorter than normal. Go figure.

I like the weight of the Fortessa flatware that I have been able to sample. This flatware is longer than the standard flat. I really like the butter knife. I also like the salad fork because of the extra length. The handle's indented detailing is interesting. I prefer plain (as in 'no details') flatware but this design actually goes well with a specific plate set that I have so I may have to get another flatware set so I have at least two table settings. I'll definitely think about it.

These pieces have a nice heft to them and look great. Makes me feel happier at meal-time. Have owned them a few months now, and no rusting or problems with them.
