My almost 3-year-old son has been playing with his Duplo building blocks for a year. It was a great addition to what he has. The only downside we've noticed with all the cool Duplo sets we've given him (submarine, 2 trains, airport, construction site/cars, fire station, etc.) is that there aren't many blocks. So when it's time to start building with his imagination, he'll quickly run out of blocks. This addition of extra blocks definitely helped solve a lot of those problems (a kid can build forever!).
