After playing around with them for a long time, I finally found out that the problem was with the batteries they came with. The batteries are very good at only turning the light on for a few minutes and then going out. So I use Energizer brand batteries and the light works fine. You can also turn off the light if it takes too long. I will check the 6 hour timer. Because they haven't worked for 10 days. I also had problems with my plug inside. It may need to be bent a bit so that it presses the batteries down and holds them in place.
