This collar is so cute! I have the green plaid and it is beautiful. I like the fact that it detaches when needed, although it doesn't slide apart easily. The bow tie is held in place by 2 pieces of elastic that the collar goes through, but it's not something that can slip off easily, so don't worry about that. Unfortunately my cat hates him because he is an asshole! He hated the bow tie and could chew on it, so I took it off. The bell worked so well but he kept trying to attack him so I took it off. He only seemed satisfied with the collar, then went into another room and returned without it. The collar is so cute and I highly recommend it if you have a cat that will actually wear it!
