i admit i was a bit paranoid when i read the reviews for this and many other ram sticks and thought i would screw up my computer or i would have to wear rubber gloves or something like that. I ground myself, but luckily the iMac's case is mostly metal, so that's enough to dissipate static since you can't help but touch the back. In short, it was very easy. To install. After downloading it I was worried that I didn't do it right because everything was running terribly slowly. I "sat" it for a while, restarted it fine, and then everything was fine. My system found the RAM to be in a "normal" state from the start, but I downloaded the test software and verified that all 4 sticks had no errors. Like Update: DP.S. The packaging is SUPER tight and I was afraid I would break the chopsticks just trying to get them out. They're fine, but damn, that's a risky way to wrap them.
