Review on 🔊 Digital Sound Level by Parts Express by Jerry Frey

I used to do professional sound reinforcement for live theater. I retired and sold all my gear. I moved to an active 55+ community where they do a lot of live shows and I joined an audio group. We have just renovated our theater and unfortunately the authorities have installed a glass technical booth. Of course we don't hear anything live and I was forced to install a monitor speaker. Now the only reference of what's being transmitted into the home isn't the combination of live and amplified sound you get when you "hear" the actual end result. The dB meter was the answer and this little device is great. I used to have a Radio Shack, but you had to pre-select dB bands and that was tedious. This device works great, it's small and fits in my pocket. It also has a backlit screen (press the button) so it's great for work anywhere light can be an issue. Great little unit.
