Works great. I finally managed to add a sump to my 2 year old reef tank and bought these filter socks. At first I had canister filters and was afraid that the water would no longer be crystal clear. I've never had cleaner, clearer water with these socks. They do a really good job of removing small particles from the tank. I wore socks the first day, by the end of the day they were full. After about 2-3 days after doing this and cleaning (by just rinsing them in the sink) they will last a good 2 days before needing cleaning. It just goes to show how much better they are at trapping dirt than a canister filter. I never realized how much water was floating in the tank before I bought them. Great product and will buy again!
