I would recommend this foam to intermediate or experienced builders - it is a more difficult foam to build due to the stiffness of the material. That being said I have just ordered two more rolls based on my first buying experience. While I recommend beginners building cosplays to start with a lighter material, this EVA foam is pretty incredible. This foam is dense enough to be heat gun sculpted, rotary tooled and detailed, while still maintaining strength and light weight. This is probably an intermediate area for experts, but even beginners will find their way around quickly.
