Review on 🚚 CURT 45036 Trailer Hitch Mount: 2-Inch Ball & Pin, 2-In Receiver, 7,500 lbs, 2" Drop by Nick Ross

I lost another hitch and bought this one because of the higher hitch load, 750 lbs, and because the photo showed where the pin hole was wider than the others. I'm guessing that might be why it's £750 vs £600 and if I remember correctly the Class III mount on the SUV only holds £350. One problem is that the pin has a hole instead of a slot for the clamp. The clip was very tight and I had to tap it to get it in place. Now I'm going to bend it to a more open position, but I'll probably replace it with a different style. Have you ever tried putting a staple in that little hole at night? The weird thing is that their 3 inch drop clutch has a better clamp attachment style. Will be picking one up on my next trip to Harbor Freight where I think I'd check if I knew about the pin and clip issue with the curt I bought.
