I used Griots Garage 11117 microfibre drying towel for the first time yesterday and was very satisfied! Just one Griot 11117 towel was enough for me to thoroughly dry my 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport without even wringing it out. This drying towel is well made, very soft, decently thick, large and super absorbent. The pockets at each end really help with handling the towel as you move it across the surface of the car, so thanks for that design element! I've seen people say that you have to wet the towel first for it to absorb properly, but I forgot to do that and I can say it didn't affect the towel's absorbency at all, and better yet, I avoided wringing out the original water. Bonus! I took a closer look at the surface of the machine after drying, and there is not even a hint of curl. It may help that I smeared the car with cream wax a few weeks after buying it, which was only about 6 weeks ago. I cannot recommend enough to put the first coat of quality wax on a new car and wax it at least 2-3 times a year. As for this drying towel, I think it is money well spent and I expect to use it for years to come. With the right care, of course.
