Review on 🌪️ Redken Color Extend Graydiant: Revitalize Gray & Silver Hair with Purple Shampoo & Hair Toner by Sheneka Lane

You must have a shampoo and I decided to try this Redken for its anti-yellowing claim. My white still has a yellow/green tint to it, but I don't want to blame the shampoo entirely because our water is semi-hard. I'm also trying a new shower head with a filter to see if there's a difference. I also refrained from afterwash/conditioner with color since I use a hair dryer and a flat iron. I am sensitive to smells. This one isn't too strong. I like the smell of conditioner more than shampoo. It leaves my hair clean and soft and for those who don't use conditioner you really need it because it is a strong shampoo and needs a conditioner. I didn't have to wear gloves and I don't see purple. I'd rather see purple in my hair than this yellow green. I really don't think any other shampoo will get rid of the yellow/green any better. Hopefully it's mineral buildup on my old shower head. I tried the Aqua Bliss filter but it didn't seem to work at all and I still had the old shower head. Tomorrow I'll start with a new shower head with filter. The packaging of this shampoo and conditioner is thin at least at a size 8.5. I have never used a shampoo/conditioner with such thin plastic. It might be better for the environment to use less plastic, but it shows. This is my third shampoo in almost 20 months since I stopped coloring my hair so I will be buying it again. It works well enough that I use it for a while before trying something new.
