Review on 🔎 PROTAG Duet Bluetooth Tracker - Black (Retail Packaging) by Jesse Stewart

I bought this about a year ago but the build quality and application is terrible. I figured a spare battery would be useful and reduce waste since the device wouldn't have to be thrown away because of a dead battery, but the battery cover isn't securely fastened so in an attempt I physically taped it sealed around the battery cover in place to hold, but still fell out during normal use (it was attached to my keys). And now the guts of the device just feel good. The IOS app has some nice concepts with geofencing (the alarm will sound if it's out of Bluetooth range) and the ability to turn off the alarm in specific Wi-Fi zones, but I've found that both features never get right worked. The alarm went off many times even with the device and phone in the pockets. The Wi-Fi zone never worked to automatically turn off the alarm. There was also a software setting to turn off the alarm, but it would often still sound no matter what mode the alarm was set in. All in all a great concept, but the device doesn't work properly.
