
I have had to change the power windows in both rear doors of my e90 probably 5-6 times in 8 years. The original butyl seal was cracked and leaking, which (according to YouTube videos) could be the reason why water got onto the rear floorboards and formed horrible smelly mold. This butyl tape appears to be exactly the same size as the original. and although I've only done one door, I think there's plenty left for the second door if I have to redo it, which I almost certainly have to do given the poor design of the car's controls.
