It took a bit more than I thought to get it hung up. I would take the time before making the purchase to make sure you have an area that is able to accommodate this. If you are limited in space and places you can screw it to, it may not be the best solution for you. The overall dimensions are 2 foot by 3 foot, which is about the same as advertised. You will need to mount this to a solid piece of wood or backing to make it secure. Hanging it wasn't horrid as it is just to screws per piece. Not very difficult, overall. Just make sure that you have the proper space to use it. I mounted ours to the side of a shed so you have awareness.The baskets themselves are great. It looks very nice and can hold quite a few items. I used ours to put some herbs and flowers in. The self-watering aspect works just as described. Personally, I prefer to just use a watering can as it is easier to monitor and water.I like this system. It is definitely better than just using window boxes sporadically and the cheaper made thing you can find at stores. If you have the proper space and would like to brighten up a specific spot, this is your go to. Considering the cost it is more than worth it and you should absolutely give it a try.
