I am really blown away by the quality and value you get in this desktop ring light kit and everything seems to use standard parts that are easy to handle replace and replace.In the box you will get the following: * Sturdy metal tabletop tripod with standard 1/4" thread * Base ball head adapter for ring lamp mount * Smaller ball head adapter for phone holder mount * Adjustable plastic phone holder * Bluetooth remote shutter release for iOS /Android phones* And of course a 10" ring light with built-in USB remote control. The two included ball head adapters have metal bases with standard 1/4"-20 female threads on the bottom and 1/4"-20 male thread studs on the top. The mounting handles are made of plastic and attached to a metal thread. The base cup and ball on both adapters are metal. Male pins are made of metal surrounded by a plastic base at the top. The tripod is made of metal where it matters and plastic where it doesn't matter. The tripod is simple but solid metal and quite heavy. The three legs have a fixed length and are attached to the tripod head with ball joints. This means there is no way to fix the legs at any angle, but since this kit uses a standard 1/4"-20 thread on everything, you can easily replace it with your own tripod. The legs of the Tripods are made from standard plastic end caps that you find with wire shelving. The ring light has 10 brightness levels and 3 color temperatures, all controlled via easy-to-use built-in controls on the USB cable. I can power the light using a standard USB power adapter 5V and 2.4A , so most modern phone chargers and computer USB ports should power it normally. The brightest setting is very bright and more than adequate for video calling in a dark office iPhone 11. At the side there is a power switch to turn on the remote control and turn it on I just went into my bluetooth settings phone to pair with "AB Shutter3" After pairing I was in de r location photos by opening the Photos app and pressing the big iOS button. The button also records videos in photo mode, but you can also switch to video mode to start and stop recording with a simple click. Overall, this kit is really insanely valuable. The parts are surprisingly high quality, and since everything uses a standard 1/4"-20 thread, you can easily combine it with your existing photography equipment. For example, I replaced the tripod with my own mini table tripod, because I need something even smaller and more compact to fit on my desk.
