Will not stop. Although it's fairly weak and doesn't have much traction, it moves under its own traction and vibration. The feet are made of very hard plastic and make a humming noise as they constantly bounce off whatever hard surface you place them on. I tried putting a rag underneath and that reduced the buzz but made it worse. The best I could do to stop the movement was to place a heavy (5lb minimum) object on the cord to hold it in place. Even then, it wants to turn left and right. I suspect an additional design issue causing the vibration, namely an imbalance in the fan blades.
