I bought this because I only use a projector and don't have a cable. Delivery was quick. I received it the next day. I picked it up from the post office this morning. Setup was quick and easy. Attach the antenna (not included), connect the power cable and run the HDMI cable (not included) from the box to the receiver. The remote control is powered by 2 "three A" batteries (not included). Standard functions include power on/off/standby, menu, record, timer, fast forward, rewind, play, volume, channel, pause, zoom. When you turn on the device, select the language and it will continue to search for channels. This gives you the option to skip, but I already had the antenna connected so I let it do it. You can choose your country and time zone. There is an option for password and parental controls. Aspect ratio: 9 and 4:3 or just leave it on Auto. Resolution options: 480i, 480p to 1080i, 1080p. No 4k option Video format options: NTSC or PALA USB flash drive (not included) for recording, viewing photos, playing movies or playing music. It also has a radio tuner.
