My Happy Heat electric foot warmer broke after 3 months! The wire no longer heats the coil attached to the bag. I thought it would last longer, but it's not. However, it is convenient and easy to use. It is not a fire hazard. When it worked, it warmed the legs, but the warmth didn't last long. The bag needs to be warmed up every 2 hours. After that, the bag gets slightly warm. Considering it only lasted 3 months at such a high price I don't recommend it. Update: December 2020 As an alternative, I suggest buying a Costco electric blanket and throwing it over your legs and feet. You can also wear wool socks. This method kept my legs warm and I was able to move my legs and feet under the throw and change position. It's much more comfortable than having your feet stuck in one position for hours in the Happy Heat electric foot warmer. Happy trails! Update: March 2021 The idea of using an electric blanket instead of the Happy Heat electric foot warmer has been working very well for me for the past 4 months! Unlike a foot warmer, a blanket does not fail or stop working. I wrap it around my feet and legs every day and it keeps me warm all winter long! The plus was that I can move my feet and legs under the covers and put them in different positions. Thanks to the Happy Heat electric foot warmer, my feet got stuck in the same position every day! It turned into a nightmare because I got tired of being in the same position all the time. I hope you consider this an alternative.
