Review on 🚧 iRobot Dual Mode Virtual Wall Barrier - Authentic Parts for Roomba 600/700/800/900 Series by Michelle Taylor

Protects E-Sweepio from pet food bowls

If you have a Roomba and pets, you almost certainly need at least one of these. We use the virtual wall that came with Roomba for doors, but we have pets, water bowls, and food bowls that we don't want E-Sweepio (that's what we called our Roomba) to mow down for daily cleaning. . It wasn't like he was trying to climb over the bowl, but like most obstacles, he pushed it a few times to go around it, and the push was hard enough to get the water out of the bowl over himself and up to splash him the ground. which is not good for him. So a mode on this virtual wall forms a kind of semi-circle about 4 feet around the pet food bowls when placed on the wall behind. This is called Halo mode. Another mode creates a virtual wall for doors or areas that you want to cordon off. But this one only reaches about 10 feet for wider doors, while the one that comes with the E-Sweepio only reaches about 7 feet. It runs on batteries so I try to remember to turn it off when not in use. This virtual wall doesn't work with Bot Cousteau, our iRobot Braava Jet 240 floor cleaning robot. But it doesn't push the pet bowls hard enough to spill, and even if some water did spill, it wouldn't hurt it.
