Review on 🔪 Freud SD208 8-Inch Premium Dado Blade (No Longer Available) by Abdirahman Elmer

Two things. I bought this product some time ago in January. I live outside the US and use a carrier to ship the items I order to me. I haven't had a chance to use this set to date as I had another dado set installed and working. Finally the temptation to try. The blades came off twice. The first time I turned the saw off after noticing a different step while cutting. Examining the blade, I noticed the nut was loose and some teeth were missing small bits of carbide from the edges. I tighten the nut again, assuming it was my fault. It happened again, and this time the saw blade spun out of control, damaging the table saw and a few other teeth. As this is a discontinued product and I have searched the internet I have found other cases which I believe Freud knew about the problem. It is a very dangerous situation for a company not to get goods out of stores. Bad behavior Freud. Disappointing, I could have been seriously injured. A smooth surface will not be cut, you need to clean it with a plane or chisel.
