Review on CIPA 11125 Hand Mirror by Ben Daugherty

Rotate 90 degrees: Here's how:

This brilliant idea came to me from a DSP reviewer who shared the thought that if the mirror was rotated 90 degrees, you could see more to the side. They do! How does it work? First remove the rubber band. Then use a sharp office knife (better an Exacto knife) to cut the slots perpendicular to the existing ones (see photo). The back is soft plastic, so it's pretty easy, but be careful not to cut the mirror (or yourself). Then thread the elastic back in and use a rolled up paperclip to grab the end and pull it through the slot. VOILA! Takes about 15 minutes. Wear it on both hands with the thick black base towards you and the thin part away from you, or buy a second one and put one on each hand. I use my snowmobile mirror over thick gloves. Drive safe!
