Exactly what I was looking for

I use it as a rearview mirror when I ride a unicycle. Ideal for this task. The strap is a chain of elastic and velcro, you don't need to undo the velcro to put it on or take it off. to rotate the belt 90 degrees. But this is something that can be done with a Dremel tool.

Great for cycling

I wear mine on my wrist most of the time, just below the wrist guard. It stays in place and I forget about it until I need to use it. I ride a unicycle and it's very convenient for me to have it on my left hand so I can see the traffic behind me. I wouldn't say the price is great for what you get, but it feels very sturdy. I don't think the reflective material will break or get damaged if dropped. Maybe just a little scratched.

It's hard to see behind me at a glance.

Placing my hand a certain way allows me to see back through my body and arm, but this is far from ideal. I can stretch out my arm to get a better view, but that's not desirable when I'm on the move and I just need to quickly see if there are cars behind me. I do not regret the purchase at this price, I still keep it in my pannier but I did not use it since I had normal mirrors.

worked well for a handful or trips

A few things you need to know. Mine cracked after a fight with a wall, yes I stumbled on this LoL. The sticker states that objects appear closer i.e. a horse puck. They look tiny when you look at their outstretched hand. You may think you have enough clearance to be ahead of the car, but in fact objects appear further away than they really are. Practice with a mirror before using it before judging the distance to objects behind you. All in all a decent mirror.

Ideal for use when riding!

I got this mirror to ride! Our paths run right next to the road and are partly shared by cyclists and hikers. If these creatures are silent when approaching your horse, the horse will often be startled and may shove the rider out of fear or be startled and cause him to fall. Horses are "hunting" animals, which means they're always worried about someone chasing them! The mirror allows me to see what's going on, so I can turn the horse over to see it, or ask the person to say a few words to calm…

Better than I expected.

I was expecting very poor quality for the price but was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the box. Optically it's clear, without any distortion, with a decent field of view. I use them with motorcycle gloves which have a firm raised knuckle so the angle of the mirror is perfect for seeing behind me. This one was cheaper than the other one listed on Amazon, a few dollars more. They are exactly the same and both are made by the same manufacturer, the only difference is that one comes in…

I finally have eyes in the back of my head.

I mean I don't really like it but it's pretty cool. Five stars because it is exactly as described and fits well. In the attached photo, my daughter and her horse are behind me. I have used it for both cycling and horseback riding. So I can keep an eye on the kids without having to keep turning around. It's also handy when on horseback to see if a calm hiker or cyclist is catching up to me. What many people don't realize is that it's actually good for horses to hear you and try to approach…

Rotate 90 degrees: Here's how:

This brilliant idea came to me from a DSP reviewer who shared the thought that if the mirror was rotated 90 degrees, you could see more to the side. They do! How does it work? First remove the rubber band. Then use a sharp office knife (better an Exacto knife) to cut the slots perpendicular to the existing ones (see photo). The back is soft plastic, so it's pretty easy, but be careful not to cut the mirror (or yourself). Then thread the elastic back in and use a rolled up paperclip to grab the…
