I attached the largest rectangle to the inside of my Otterbox Commuter case (Moto G). It stuck well to the mount in my first test. The body fits as usual with metal attachment - it's just stiffer in this area. It will probably fit even better on the car mount if the metal sits squarely without a 2mm gap, but I wanted it to be invisible. I also really liked the number that came with the set. You get four rectangles, but you can also combine multiple circles to use on other phones. The design on them is also great if you want to attach a piece of metal to a craft project or any surface you plan to use the magnets on.
