I used these under my ski socks. I have terribly cold feet. They worked. One day the windchilll was -20 and my feet were fine. (granted I had heated insoles as well). Other days when the temp was 30 I never needed my heated insoles. These kept my feet from getting sweaty. Also prevented blisters in my snow boots. I would purchase again. I'm 5'2" about 130lbs with athletic calves and they were fitted on my calves, but not so much so it was uncomfortable.
