If you have fine super soft hair like mine you get soft beautiful waves that last long, although as the day went on my waves fluffed and bit. In addition, this waver gives our fine hair a lot of volume. I first applied it to freshly washed and dried hair with some Oribe texturizing spray. There were waves, but my hair was so soft (not enough spray I think) that it was quite thin but still beautiful, and there was volume. deeper and I had a lot of volume. They also stayed wavy throughout the day, although there was some relaxation again, but I was very impressed with the results. Please note that for better or for worse, I simply laid the strands of hair without cutting the strands to the side - I was rather hasty and still liked the result. If I had taken my time, cut the sections and done it more carefully, I think my waves would have been more pronounced. Also, it's time to trim my hair, and when I do, some of the weight and regrown layers at my ends will add fullness, volume, and waves. The price of $72 is a lot. There are cheaper waveguides. I watched a few videos and based on their results, picked this one out of the cheaper ones - the more expensive ones worked better and were better made. However, the button is definitely in the wrong place. I keep turning it off while trying to curl my hair! It's a little frustrating. I almost took off a star for that but I really like the comfort of this Waver so I'll give it a 5. Comes in a sturdy pink box with a really good quality pink heat resistant glove. I really wish it had a case to protect it but I just put it back in the box and set it aside on the shelf. This is a very quick way to add some volume, body and beauty. Waves for thin hair too.
