great LED replacement for hardwired fluorescent UTC fixtures
I bought (1) 18" , (2) 24", and (1) 42" and all work fine. 3000 K color is perfect and they are brighter than the fluorescents were but not too bright either. Hopefully these LED s will last a long time unlike the skinny fluorescent odd length tubes that go half bad within 6 months. Only "downsides" were the knockouts didn't line up with existing wiring so I had to drill 1/2" holes and there could be more room for the extra wiring but these are trivial complaints. They could cost a little less there really isn't much to them. But I could find no direct wire type any cheaper in the lengths I needed
- Low heat generation means cooler environment
- The LED lights may have a limited lifespan
