Energy saving lamp. Works weird. changes to med. then up, then down. I've never seen a 3 strip light before. I've tried this on several lamps to see if the problem is with our lamp. The same cycle no matter what lamp I use it in. These lamps are available in the traditional soft white color and in the "Blue" daylight version. Be careful when ordering. If you want the traditional yellow light of an incandescent bulb choose a soft white light, if you want a bright bluish light choose daylight. Happy with a lightbulb - is energy efficient and lasts longer than a 3-way incandescent bulb.
