This is a good small DVD player. I gave it 5 stars because I really learned to love it! In this regard, I would like to say that it has a 10.1 inch screen as shown here on the box and not 10.5 as stated in the description here on Amazon. I'm also not sure if the battery life is 4 hours as stated in the seller description here. The user guide says 2 hours, which is a little disheartening because we bought it specifically for offline use. I can say we watched one movie and part of another before it started giving low battery warnings. I estimate that the battery lasted almost three hours on a full charge. Even though I was hoping for the full four hours that the seller stated in the description, I'll probably keep this DVD player anyway because of all its good features like 1. Good, loud, crystal clear speakers! It's so comfortable?! I mean seriously, I feel like it's necessary to pull out the headphones, sit down and watch a movie with a spouse or kid on a camping trip and everyone should be able to hear it. (Also, I'm somewhat hard of hearing, so that's a big deal for me!) The speakers are VERY good quality and don't sound harsh and crappy like some other portable DVD players. Plus, this DVD player played ALL our discs flawlessly! Even those with visible scratches. I find it very impressive! My first impression of the DVD player when I unpack it is that it's a bit thick compared to the devices I work with these days. The plastic feels cheap and I would be afraid to let a small child run away with it as it will most likely break if it falls. So if it were me and I was buying for a small child I would definitely choose one that is specifically designed for TINY children with bumpers etc because I don't think this one can withstand violence. I bought a good case for it and found myself much happier knowing it was safely stowed in something soft for protection. I would also like to point out that I am very impressed with the responsiveness of all the buttons on this DVD player and the plugins are very nice, solid and secure and I don't feel like they were designed to be a disruptive point. I have $300 devices that I can't say the same about! I believe that with good care this DVD player will serve our entertainment needs for many years to come. It comes with everything you need to connect to AC/DC and even headphones. It's not listed in the description, but it can play MP4s! Hooray! The only thing I don't like about this DVD player is the remote control! I'd like to call it a joke because it's really ridiculous with about 30 unnecessary buttons making the ones you need to see and use so tiny that they're hard to see and read in the light of a movie showing, but other than that i don't like love this little dvd player! It's beautiful, functional and affordable! What more do you want? I have to say that I am satisfied with my purchase.
