The cabin filter I received was a genuine Mazda OEM filter for my 2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring. Original box, packaging and lettering on plastic (Mazda logo). To change the filter you have to pull the glove box down and out and then simply swap out the filters, making sure the part numbers are the same size and look. Retrieve your glove box and you're done. Probably a 1-2 minute job depending on how stubborn your glove box can be. I bought mine through the seller Online Parts Warehouse and my filter was a real Mazda in case any of you want to stay away from fakes. The maintenance schedule says the air/cabin filters need to be changed every year, so mine definitely should have done it. See photo.
