OK. In summary, it does what it promises with great difficulty and some risk of damaging the trailer when loading and unloading bikes. Multiple issues 1. The official photo of the bikes on the trailer posted on the Revain sales site is fake. It shows 2 lace loops that hold the pedals to the bike mount and these lace loops are not included or part of the instructions. The official image does not show the lower anti-roll bars. which serve exclusively to prevent bicycles from rocking and are not load-bearing.2. The directions are a joke. They're undercooked. The instructions skipped an entire step to assemble the mount and place the pins and stabilizing pins. Also, the illustrations incorrectly show the location of the pads, such that one pad is above the stabilizer bar and the other is below the stabilizer bar on a given side. Both pads will be together on either side of the attachment between the top supporting pin and the bottom pin.3. It is extremely difficult for me to load the bike closest to the trailer. The bike facing the trailer MUST be raised over the bike rack (note the height is much higher than most off-road vehicles) and lowered very carefully to allow the bike's wheels to engage the rack pin on the trailer side of the rack. If you have arthritis in your thumb or pain in your rotator cuff, don't worry. This carrier is not for you. Loading an off-road/truck bike is pretty easy. For a bike this will be adequate. Note that the wheel centers of the smallest bike that will carry it should be 31 inches apart. If they drilled more holes, it would be more suitable for small children's bikes. In my opinion the designers should have included some sort of tilting mechanism to allow the frame to lean away from the trailer for easier loading and unloading of the bike from the trailer side. works well for 1 bike and is fair value as a single bike rack. And if you are a strong and healthy person, it can work as two bike holders for you. Three tips: 1. Before you install this on your caravan, try mounting your bikes upside down in your driveway or garage and get an idea of how the rack works before you start loading bikes onto your trailer drag sky. on the pedal closest to the trailer to avoid damage. the bike touches the trailer when loading and unloading.3.
