It works well, but it kind of rips you off.

So I read the reviews and they all said it works well and with a lack of isopropyl alcohol I decided to give it a try. As soon as I opened the bottle the smell hit me and brought back many memories of mopping the floor at work and this is the solution I've been working with for years because what's in the bottle is also known as Citrisolv is. This is an all-natural degreaser that you can buy at your local Whole Foods or probably most health food stores for around $12, but you can get nearly a liter of this product for the same price. How safe it actually is compared to isopropyl is debatable, as both solutions seem to leave a mark on what you've been cleaning for a long time unless it's the last time you use isopropyl to clean. So, final verdict, I would recommend it, but only as a replacement for times when isopropyl alcohol is in short supply and the price will likely go up after things subside, but if you have isopropyl alcohol, it works much better and probably safer.

Pros
  • Arctic Silver 5 contains over 88% by weight thermally conductive filler. In addition to micronized silver, Arctic Silver 5 also contains submicron particles of zinc oxide, aluminum oxide and boron nitride.
Cons
  • Obsolete model
