I expected these covers to be made from a fine linen fabric. Instead, linen fabric is a thick, strong, commercial fabric that feels very durable. The rubberized padding keeps them in place as you get in and out of the car seat. They are a very stylish alternative to other seat covers. I installed them on my new Lexus GX460. FYI, the front elastic straps with hooks were too short to snag on the underside of my seats. I fixed this by using mini bungee cords as extenders.
