Worked for me - sort of

After installing both struts and closing the bed 2 times (this is on an RV), one of the (clips popped off and the connection to support bracket came off completely. I placed the clip on the strut a second time and had the same result. I do NOT think I had a defective strut. I think that it was likely user error - I was probably not precise enough in mounting the support brackets. So, I'm giving these a 4.

Pros

They were easy to install I did them myself.I used them on my Corvette hatch.
