I have chairs around the kitchen island and a ceramic tile floor. Each time the chair was moved there was a horrible squeak, followed by a pop and then another screech as the legs hit the indentations in the cement mortar. No other caps I have tried will fit as the legs are rectangular (rectangular caps are hard to find) and anything that sticks to them will soon wear out due to the cut outs in the base. Also, the chairs are brushed birch, so the white caps were too light and the brown ones were too dark. These caps are perfect. They look good, fit perfectly and the chairs now glide silently over every tile and niche in between! They do not collect dirt and hair! I love her!
