not for high ceilings
I have high ceilings and didn't pay attention to the length of the chain before ordering. For an 8ft ceiling this would be ideal, but 10ft isn't that much. The light is perfectly finished etc. but the chain length is not the greatest. There were no screws to install and the electrician didn't seem to have any trouble with the installation.
