Photos removed instead of transferred
I bought this to take photos of our family vacation with a digital camera and then transfer them to my phone. I had to format the SD reader for it to connect. Instead of being carried over, they were removed from the SD. They didn't transfer to my phone either. I don't know how it happened but thank goodness I checked and only lost a few instead of our entire holiday. I can't really recommend it.
