This is a good pair of boots, furry warm and super lightweight. And sole's grabbing power is good as well. However, the main withdrawing is that the boots are too short for playing in snow, and the opening is loose. Snow goes directly inside easily. So I don't think it's a good option as of a snow boots but it definitely works as a nice everyday boots in winter time. For sizing, my daughter normally wears shoes in big kids size 1.5, and this boots size 2.5 fits her well. So I think it runs a bit small. Do consider size up.
