While the shoe looks great, I couldn't get over the forefoot being too short. I felt like my toe was resting on the edge of my boot when my toes were properly extended. I've never had this problem and ordered them in two sizes, 7 and 7 1/2 to make sure I got the right one and both had the same problem with my foot slipping out of the back of the 7 1/2 . 2 because they were too big in that area. I originally bought New Balance because they are highly recommended for wide feet and I also wear orthotics which makes finding the right running shoe difficult. I ended up buying and keeping the Saucony Women's Redeemer ISO Black/Purple 7W US Running Shoe, which offers similar motion control support.
