SHINYBOYE for accent and terrain lighting

Definitely quite bright I was planning to only use one of these on my bike but yes. You don't have enough LEDs until you reach 80% of maximum stator current ( ͡ᵔ ͜ʖ ͡ᵔ ). However, in terms of actual lighting, they are amazing. Together they create a continuous stream of light. For the most part, they don't illuminate 180 degrees, which is fine with me. I would say most of the light is distributed towards the middle, up to 90 degrees you still get quite a lot of light and after that it dims as expected. The case is pretty solid, it's die-cast aluminum of seemingly higher quality than Lowe's junk aluminum, so in this case I'd say it's probably a 5 or 6000 series. The only thing I haven't looked at yet is the ability to resist water. I think just like other flashlights there is a rubber gasket inside to seal the internal electronics. I wouldn't expect anything less for the price they're being offered for and honestly I'd probably only expect hot glue installs. I think we'll find out when I open it. Otherwise the gauge of the wires is adequate, although to be honest I don't know what the exact current is going through them. I've heard from other reviews that LEDs can go out over time. If one of mine fails I'll update the review and maybe just replace the LEDs with some patch components.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Very expensive
