I use hygrometers to monitor humidity when storing seeds and they are great. To charge: Place them in the oven on a baking sheet with paper towels (cheap dry ones) underneath for 2 hours. Turn over the hour. It may take less time since I'm doing the pan all at once. You CAN use them in the microwave, but not at full power - the defrost setting. And it says that for long, that's 50 g. 45g which I use because I saw they used plastic in the 50's just like the review where the person said you can't do that. I did it with high power. Several exploded in my microwave. Tiny globules of silica were everywhere. DEFROST again. Will buy again but will charge them until they wear out now that I know how to do it right.
