This is an honest unpaid non-free item in view of verification. I don't know why I bought this brand. Probably to save money. They were good at first and came in a really sealed package. This time they weren't. Arrived half baked due to improper packaging. It is an apparently sealed package that can be "torn off", which can be opened and which can be "reclosed" like a ziplock bag. But all you have to do is peel both sides and voila! Opens without interruption. That means moisture can penetrate.

I use hygrometers to monitor humidity when storing seeds and they are great. To charge: Place them in the oven on a baking sheet with paper towels (cheap dry ones) underneath for 2 hours. Turn over the hour. It may take less time since I'm doing the pan all at once. You CAN use them in the microwave, but not at full power - the defrost setting. And it says that for long, that's 50 g. 45g which I use because I saw they used plastic in the 50's just like the review where the person said you can't

I received the plastic bags and was very unsure if they would even work. So I ran some tests. In photo #1 you can see the tiny holes in the bag when you hold it up to a light. Zoom in and take a close look. They are arranged in a grid at a distance of about 1.5 mm from each other. Because they are so small I expected them to be closer and there would be more of them too. Then I used a spoon to completely submerge the bag in a glass of water to keep it submerged, as you can see in picture 2…
