Review on 🎵 Oakcastle BX200 Boombox, Portable CD Player and FM Radio with Bluetooth Stereo Speakers and Multi-Connection Capability by Mike Travers

This review reflects my experience with the boombox that was sent to me. Your experience may be different. Out of the box, the device looks exactly as expected, a retro boombox. Its lines are clean. It's on the small side, as things like this tend to be these days. The CD cover feels very tight; I was almost afraid I would break it. All controls and inputs are on the front panel. Wanting to make sure the buttons are intuitive, I didn't read the instructions. It took me a while to figure out that the power button had to be held down for a few seconds to get the device to light up in red letters. To switch from Bluetooth, which appears first, to Aux and CD, also use the M (mode) button. I thought it was arrow keys, but it's not. Once the controls are mastered, it's really easy to use. Includes aux cable and power cord. The power cord is short, about a foot shorter than in my other box as others have said. Both worked fine. It's really retro in the sense that it uses 4D batteries but is said to have a pretty long lifespan. I tested it on my newest box, Jensen, as shown in the picture. I find the Jensen a bit more powerful, but the sound of this box is pretty good. It won't blow the ceiling, but it's clear enough at max volume, 30. My iPod sounded good on it, and the USB sermon was very clear. There's no AM radio, and FM scans and tunes to stations with the S key. When the box is switched to FM, it starts at the first station and you have to redirect through each of the stations. It shows the preset number, not the station, until you stop at a preset. But the radio on a good station sounds good. The higher antenna led to a significant increase in the number of presets, although not all of them were really audible stations. However, he missed a relatively local station. I don't know of any way to get to a specific station that isn't preset. Holding down the arrow button still takes you to the preset. Granted, I probably won't listen to much radio. I recently purchased an Oakcastle portable personal CD player. He was of the same quality. I find their products to be very good, overall reasonably priced. What I really like is that they have a good guarantee; and when you register a product, the guarantee actually increases. This box comes with a three-year warranty. This gives a sense of security in this purchase. The only thing I don't know is how it holds up with a lot of exercise. Some of the boxes I had were not well tolerated. I think it speaks to the build quality. In this regard, this device is in no way inferior to others. I can't say it seems too strong, but nowadays it is. Overall, I think this box is great value for money. It has most, if not all, of the features one would want these days. It's easy to use and sounds very good. I would recommend it.
